Three Minnesota councils holding elections

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Three Minnesota agriculture research and promotion councils are holding elections for their board members.  Positions are open on the board of directors for the Corn, Barley and Soybean Research and Promotion Councils.  Board members will be selected through mail ballot elections, which will be mailed March 18, 2014. Farmers who voted last year will receive ballots by mail. Those who did not vote last year can request a ballot from their respective commodity council offices or www.mda.state.mn.us/ballots by February 6, 2014. There is one position open in each council district listed below.  All positions are three year terms.

Barley Research and Promotion Council:
