Highway 11 project between Loman and Pelland concludes Nov. 6

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Motorists on Highway 11 in northern Minnesota will see the roadway completely reopened with work completed on Thursday, Nov. 6.

Work began July 14 on the project, which included 11 miles of new pavement, shoulder widening and ditch grading.

Some minor restoration work will occur in the spring, including permanent striping and minor cleanup work along the route.

After the reconstruction, Highway 11 is safer and smoother.  Water drainage has also been greatly improved. The highway will serve northern Minnesota and the border region for many years to come.
