PACER training will explore early childhood assistive technology

Minneapolis: PACER Center will offer “Early Childhood Assistive Technology Train the Trainer,” a free one-day training opportunity for early childhood educators, professionals, and parents. It will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10 at PACER, 8161 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington.

Teams of early childhood educators, professionals, parents, and others are invited to increase their capacity to support the use of assistive technology (AT) with young children birth to age 5. This one-day training will give participants the opportunity to explore innovative technology and develop an implementation plan.

This training is based on lessons learned from PACER’s federally funded model demonstration project, Technology to Improve Kids’ Educational Success (TIKES).

Registration is limited.

To register to attend this free workshop, contact PACER Center at (952) 838-9000 or (800) 537-2237 (toll free), or visit PACER.org/workshops.
