Highway 220 detour north of East Grand Forks begins May 15



BEMIDJI, Minn. – Motorists on Highway 220 will encounter a detour between East Grand Forks and Alvarado beginning Monday, May 15 for a project to replace two bridges.

The detour follows Polk County Road 21, County Road 66 and Highway 1. The bridges are located:
·         Eight miles north of East Grand Forks, near the intersection with 120th St NW
·         Six miles south of Alvarado, near the intersection with 160th St NW

Redstone Construction in the contractor for the $2.09 million project. It is expected to last until August, weather permitting.
