BEMIDJI, Minn. – Motorists on Highway
59 in Kittson County will see Highway 59 and the new Two River bridge reopen to
traffic on Friday, Sept. 12. The previous detour has been fully lifted.
Crews have been working since June 16
to construct the new Two Rivers bridge
along Highway 59 and do detail work.
This new bridge will provide a safe,
smooth ride for residents of the area and improves Highway 59 as a key link
between the United States and Canada. This work will benefit travelers for
years to come.
